Supporting High Desert Opera High Desert Opera (HDO) is able to present its high quality performances because of the generous support of businesses and individuals in our area. We run our organization in a fiscally responsible manner and take pride in our resourcefulness and reliance on volunteer efforts. Nevertheless, ticket sales can only supply about 60% of our overall budget, and we rely on community support for the other 40%. Donations are the keystone to any non-profit organization.
