AUDITIONS AUGUST 12TH
High Desert Opera is hosting open auditions for its upcoming New Year's Eve Broadway production. Both "Some Enchanted Evening" and "Patsy Cline" are being considered for this winter's full-staged production.
Auditions will take place on Saturday, August 12th, at First United Methodist Church in Grand Junction, CO. Singers can book their audition appointment for an open slot from 2:00 pm to about 3:30-4:00 pm.
Male and female vocalists are welcome, however HDO is looking for a strong female singer in her 20s to 30s to fulfill the role of Patsy Cline.

What to know/bring for auditions
- Bring a song (on your phone or other device) that you would like to sing (piano accompaniment not provided)
- Ladies, if you are auditioning for Patsy Cline, please be prepared to sing "Lovesick Blues" and/or "I Fall to Pieces" (both can be found on YouTube and there are karaoke versions to put on phones)
